Courtney and Michael’s wedding day was nothing short of magical…. albeit very, very cold! But then again, what else would you expect from a winter wedding in Chicago? Courtney came prepared with a fur stole and winter boots, perfect for braving the cold for an outdoor first look at Lasalle Street Bridge. We took advantage of the snow-filled Riverwalk and made a quick stop in River Roast to warm up before heading over to Prairie Production to meet up with the bridal party. We braved the bitter cold to step into the streets of the West Loop and and then stole a few moments with the couple before the ceremony began. The sun was shining through the wall of windows that made up the ceremony backdrop and the guests could see the snow covered trees in the background. Basically a photographer’s dream! Guests dined on Lou Malnati’s (the couples favorite) and it was a #pizzawedding indeed! As the toasts came to a close the couple took to the dance floor and the space was transformed as the light went from day to night. We had to peel the couple from the dance floor to sneak a few end-of-the-night shots and it was so worth it! Congratulations Courtney and Michael!
