Pescadero and The Road Home

For me the highlight of this trip was Harley Farms Goat Dairy in Pescadero.  As you know I love food culture and I dream of one day having my own garden along with a chicken coop so this goat farm was a little piece of heaven for me.  Before we went to the goat farm we stopped for lunch at the legendary Duarte’s Tavern and they have a Bloody Mary that will rock your world, garnished with a pickled green bean… delish!! After lunch we went to try the award winning goat cheese at Harley Farms.  We were lucky enough to visit when the farm was full of little baby goats … soooo cute! In the shop you can try all of the amazing cheeses they make on premises and browse through the fabulous country chic wares.  After one more night at Costanoa we hit the road back to LA stopping along the coast to visit the Pigeon Point Lighthouse, Whale City Bakery in Davenport and of course had to stop in Santa Cruz for some amazing vegetarian Mexican food and vintage shopping!
