Though Corey and Sarah were already married last year they wanted to have a celebration to share with their closest family and friends. This adventure seeking Nebraska-based couple chose to get married at the veranda terrace of Fess Parker’s Doubletree Resort in Santa Barbara with the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop. (And when I say adventure seeking that means they skydive!!!) We could’t have asked for a more beautiful day as the sun came out just in time for the ceremony. The venue was the perfect setting for the intimate ceremony and reception for 40 guests and who doesn’t love one long dinner table … a photographer’s dream! Every gorgeous detail was put together by the lovely Jessica Kuipers of Bijoux Events. And can we talk about the flowers?! Precious & Blooming really went above and beyond to add a little magic to this day. Not to be outdone, the dessert table with confections by Enjoy Cupcakes, was just as magical and tasty too. I mean, cookie dough cupcakes … yes please! A gorgeous Sunday wedding indeed. One of my favorite shots from this day was our group shot from above at the end of the day. We had all of the guests surround the newly married couple. A wonderful way to get all of the guests involved at an intimate wedding! Sarah and Corey, thank you for allowing me to document your special day and I am delighted to share these images.
