Stiff and static? That’s just not the way I work.

I want you to look back at your photography and connect with the love story told within. I achieve that with a varying approach to your day – mixing photojournalistic-style candids with editorial portraits.

Okay, but also. I know it can feel awkward to pose for photos. I’ve found a couple things that help.

The first is time. The more time and space we have for photos, the more we can relax into it, chase down an idea, have fun and explore.

The second is that I never expect you to listen to a direction then freeze. Instead, I’ll give you easy prompts meant to elicit movement and a reaction, not a pose. The result is imagery that comes alive with emotion, photographs that you’ll cherish and pass down as art that adorns your walls and high-quality albums (I can help you create both).

Plus, you get to hang out with your person looking good as hell. I can’t think of anything better than that.
