Lauren and Colin are so much fun. She’s super sweet, and he’s loud and a little bit wild. They make a such great pair.
Their families are amazing as well. Colin is part of a large and boisterous family (he’s one of five boys!), and Lauren’s mom gave such a beautiful, heartfelt speech at the reception. Lauren’s father has passed away, and her mother surprised her with an audio recording of some sweet words from her father. Not a dry eye in the house after that!
Lastly, and maybe most memorably, their wedding was basically brought you to by Goose Island – they met at Goose Island, got engaged on 3.12, were married on 3.12, had beer hops in the bouquets, and even got to meet the Goose Island Shandyman while taking portraits (if you know, you know). For you beer geeks, they also have a Goose Island bike from a previous year’s scavenger hunt. But, the day wasn’t all about Goose Island! Malort also had a special place in the wedding (Colin is a big fan), with a Malort signature cocktail and plenty of small Malort bottles to go around. This all lead to such a great party with so much joy and dancing.
I was so honored to have been part of this day!
