Jessica and John have quite the story, which began with meeting in high school, dating for a year and a half, then doing a long-distance relationship for three years during college, which is so impressive. They had a short breakup after that, but quickly got back together, since, in Jessica’s words, ” life moments were not the same without each other.” The rest of their story is just as sweet, and involves lots of signs that they are meant to be (including finding out that they have families condos across the street from each other in Florida!).
If that wasn’t enough to make you want to check this wedding out, keep reading, because this was a wedding day I will never forget! We had been keeping an eye on the weather in the days leading up to the wedding since it was looking a little soggy, and we managed to squeeze in some beautiful outdoor photos at Wilder Park before the downpour began. Since Wilder Park Conservatory was filled to the brim with prom goers, we made the most of it and decided to head to the venue, only to have to pull over and hide out in a Home Depot parking lot because there was a tornado that just missed us! It was slightly terrifying, but in the end, dodging a tornado on their wedding day is a story Jessica & John will be able to tell for years to come, right?
I’m so glad that I was able to capture these moments for Jessica and John, tornado-dodging and all!
