Michelle and Anish had a two day celebration with many events expressing the beauty of each of their cultures, Korean and Indian.
We began coverage on a Thursday at Bridgeport Art Center with the Mendhi/Sangeet/Paebeak. There was food representing each culture, and it was a highlight of the weekend, blending each other’s cultures and families.
On Friday, we began with the Baraat and Hindu ceremony at Promontory Point, then we took break, did a quick wardrobe change, and headed back to Bridgeport for the Christian ceremony, which was officiated by the bride’s mentor and friend. So many sweet moments throughout this day – including the fact that the bride’s uncle made her dress, and some happy tears during Michelle & Anish’s first look, as well as with Michelle and her dad’s first look.
Also sweet was the fact that the couple had their two dogs with them the entire time. They are such an important part of their family that the couple even booked their venues with the thought of making sure their beloved pets could be part of the day!
